i think they completely overdid the last puzzle and now noone is willing to get engrossed in an attempt at this puzzle. its a shame, and wont help any viral campaign. but they will have to get used to it.

How would we go about that? Where would we enter in hashtags? Or would we have to get them trending worldwide?

I think that's what the band wants. I think they want #LP2012 to get trending. We have nothing else to lose right?

Well, the more hashtags on Twitter the more clips on Soundcloud. Here is a write-up about it:

"During the chat, fans are encouraged to ask the band questions via Twitter, using the hashtag #TimeOfMyLife. The more times the tag is used, the more tracks from the new album are unlocked from a Soundcloud stream featured on the site. The hashtag-to-unlock aspect of the campaign recalls one Warner Bros. launched to reveal a picture from the upcoming film, The Dark Knight Rises."

I'm just throwing stones at the minute, this may not be relevant in the slightest.

Cmon guys it's not going to be the Burn It Down video.. That Adam dude said "you are definitely not ready for this" and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't say something like that for a music video... It's gotta be another song. I know it

You know what I wouldn't be ready for? If they took this off the Internet and made it a literal scavenger hunt and hid stuff like album artwork and shit around major cities in the world. THAT would blow my mind. :leo:

    Scavenger:
    1. A person who searches for and collects discarded items.
    2. A substance added to a mixture to remove impurities.

    Is this any help?

I think a campaign to get LP2012 trending is cool, and might help convince the band/Mike give us some sort of hint, but I don't think it's a part of the puzzle/scavenger hunt.

I think something is hidden somewhere, whether that be linkinpark.com, websites affiliated with the band like Mike's blog, or somewhere totally obscure, and we need to find them. maybe there are clips of the Burn It Down video on youtube under new usernames and they're set to private?

Given that we have no other leads, I think we should focus on getting it trending until Adam or a band member says we're wrong.

LOL. At this point why would they even bother even if we were wrong? Free promotion.

In the Living things there is more than likely going to be more that one single and if they make a puzzle i think it's going to be another song cover, this is incredibly exciting :awesome:

Oh God here we go again. I'm not taking shots in the dark though. That goes too far into paranoia territory.
