Mike Discusses MFR & New LP Instrumental Titled "Issho ni"

I thought Mike's the one saying the title means 'We're In This Together',
but I think he was explaining about the meaning of the song and not just the title itself.

PS: I think I got English problems but I just couldn't point out where...

 

I'm honored to be an LP fan.

I know the track is an instrumental but can't help but wonder if they pull a Jornada del muerto with maybe the title being sung slightly in the background over and over. Either way, can't wait to hear it.

"We're In This Together" doesn't really translate into Japanese. They don't really use an equivalent for "we." "Issho ni" is the closest you can get.

 

Yep, of course is more complete. Is gonna have build ups while the demos were more flat kinda or more adapt for verse and chorus, and i am so curious to hear another instrumental, a serious one, so not demos, after all these years. Too often instrumentals can easily be more comunicative then music with text. Can't wait to hear this new -extraordinary- move from the band. I think this is gonna be a very smooth and touchy one, be ready for tears :'( or chills.

 

True! That's why 90% of music in my drive are movie/anime soundtracks
If the new track lives up to the level of Session in Meteora that'd be GREAT!

 

I know friends who learnt Japanese
and from my experience in watching Jap animes, I'm very sure about it being 'Together' in English.

Actually the word 'issho' has another meaning (not sure if they only sound alike or if they're the same word) of 'Same' as in 'no difference'

PS: But sure you can wait until an official translation comes out (if it ever will)

I'm sure Mike could whip up a solid track in under a week. It's definitely not too soon for new material.

And yeah, when is this being released? That's the only reason I came to this thread and it wasn't mentioned at all lol.
