    Hello all,

I've created this short video to promote my upcoming rap record.
The Beat in the video is inspired by earlier productions of Mike Shinoda as LP and Fort Minor are my number one influences.

If you like to check that out I'd be more than thankful. All the best!

Hey! I got the same pair of headphones as you!
Shinoda's not the first thing that comes to mind with this beat, but it has a really nice vibe to it! I don't know if it's the scale you're using, but the progression makes me feel very comfortable. It's really well produced as Austin pointed out.

The thing that is very prominent in the early Shinoda style is the layering of drums with the use of low heavy kicks with mid tones kicks for those velocity changes. The snares snares would also be on the low end with a tiny bit of reverb at times, that would already make the beats sound really full. The beat making Linkin log video showcases this very well. Mike's drums are always busy!

I know this post is a bit old, but I really liked the track!
