ooo sounds good - i hope its true. albums in the US are release on tuesdays arent they and mondays in the UK? that ties in perfectly if its true
Lordy. Some people need to learn how to read. Joe: I think it's definitely Mike fucking with us, no Warner rep taking it down or anything. DYNOMIIIITE DEREK: I too think Mike purposely posted it and deleted it that fast to fuck with us. etc.
for your info i just came home after a long ass day and didn't have that energy to read each n every post.
Haha, take it easy, all you had to do was read the topic post...it's all gravy though. Minutes to Midnight = Dashing title.
You think it (if it by some chance really was the title) is a reference to how they take so long to perfect. And that in their waining moments til their deadline, they just came up with that as symbolic for their struggle against perfection. Or something like that.
Maybe they wanted fan websites to put it up just so they can get feedback from the fans. I just think it's a strange way to tell the fans. Loving the name though, but doesnt really connect with HT or Meteora, I suppose this could be part of the change.
1) I don't think Chester is that clever. 2) I don't think Chester is that stupid. 3) That's the most outrageous correlation I've ever heard.
Well I'm saying that they didn't have that much meaning to them, Hybrid Theory describes a mixture of genres whereas Meteora is a place, so them two are different, but in someway connected cause you have to look it up to get the meaning, whereas "minutes to midnight" basically you know what it means instantly.
Sorry man but your explanation makes no sense. Minutes to Midnight could actualy mean something, we don't know yet, hell we don't even know if that's actualy the name of the album. I'm liking Minutes To Midnight though.
Let's see... 1. Phoenix flat out said that the "T____ and T_____" title wasn't necessarily true, and that the band hadn't settled on a final title yet, as of the interview with LPA, which was a while after Chester gave that "clue." The title could have very easily changed since then. 2. If that's indeed the title, I have a hunch it was inspired by current events. The Doomsday Clock just moved a couple minutes closer to midnight a couple months ago. Most pop culture references to "minutes to midnight" that aren't meant in a literal sense are referring to the Doomsday Clock. 3. If that's indeed the title, a lot of Iron Maiden fans are going to be pissed off about it.
i like the title name but obviously im not gonna believe it till i see it, but like i said last week... i still think we'll get our announcement we've been waiting for by the end of this week .... i hope lol
"minutes to midnight" sounds like an album title, i like it... it's kind of dark an stuff i can't wait to see the art work, the date looks realistic too, i mean that this could be true and Mike deleted it just to make hype... ... and it's working But to say the truth the only thing i really care about the album it's the music, so i won't be happy until i hear the single...
Yeah my explanation doesn't make much sense but i'm not good at explaining things really . I prefer Trials and Tribulations mainly cause it's more unique, but this album title is good too.
