What do you think is the most depressing song you've ever heard? I think Demolition Lovers by My Chemical Romance is pretty depressing myself.

Just Like Heaven by The Cure. Not because it's an overly depressing song, per se, but it's for personal reasons.

Nine Inch Nails - "And All That Could Have Been" is such a sad song. But the most depressing song I've ever heard? Johnny Cash's version of NIN's "Hurt". Holy hell. That video is so emotional.

Oh, and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" is probably in my top 3.

Other mentionables: Evanescence's "Hello", Cold's "Wasted Years", Gary Jules' cover of Tears For Fears' "Mad World", R.E.M's "Everybody Hurts", Eric Clapton's "Tears In Heaven", and NIN's "Something I Can Never Have" from the Still sessions (what song list of mine wouldn't be complete without this song?).
