Two fascinating facts have been revealed in Complex Magazine's recent interview with Linkin Park DJ Joseph Hahn. First off, it appears that Joe has a clothing line and store called "Suru" that he recently opened on L.A.'s main fashion street, Melrose Avenue. Secondly, the article read that Joe has two feature film projects in the woodworks. Before this article, fans knew of only one film, Joe's adaptation of China Mieville's "King Rat". Stay tuned for when we find out the name of the other project. Scan of the article here. Thanks to Jae!
I searched, there's no website. I don't know what language "Suru" comes from, so I wouldn't know. In Japanese, it's "to try" or "to attempt". Considering Joe's korean ancestry, I'd guess it's Korean, but I can't find a translator.
I had no idea he did special effects for the X-files. [/b][/quote] Yerr. Hahn is the man. Well if he is serious i would buy the clothes, if they eva make it to Australia . And more movies. All sounds good to me.
They way i understand it, joes aspirations were to be a movie director, not a musician. But thats how it panned out for him and linkin park has opened more doors for him with the film industry. So id say he just doing what he loves.
A clothing company? Is it really true? If it is, I'll check it out. Well, whatever Joe is doing, he's got my support. I can't wait for King Rat to be started on, that's the main thing I'm waiting for.
