It makes sense in my head, it is just hard to fit into words. Making a Nu-METALesque song like the ones who "went hard" when Linkin Park "went smart."
Yeah, I can kinda see it with the way you put it. About how they made a song that sounded the way it did to catch the attention of the fans who shitfling at them, right?
Yeah, kinda except the "Y'all go hard" refers to Nu-metal bands making their Nu-metal music and not changing. Mike hammers the point in by saying "all I know go hard" in a song written in Nu-metal fashion.
Read the whole thing, good read. I would agree with most of that stuff. It gave me a new interpretation on Roads Untraveled. I stayed on the more personal path for that. I had a girlfriend who I had been with for 2 years, and it slowly became sour for 2 months before we broke up. 'cause the love that you lost, wasn't worth what it cost, and in time you'll be glad it's gone' I am glad its gone Yeah, I would think most people would think interpret it like me.
Fantastic analysis Elaine, made me view the album from a whole new (and more interesting) perspective. It makes me a little frustrated though, as LP's next album could be another collection of tracks rather than a concept record. I'm looking more forward to LP running out their contract and getting back to their Minutes To Midnight mindset.
