I would hardly call both songs "similar" but the background music is what I'm focusing right now

EDIT 2: Oh and vocally, you could say the "ooohhAHHooooh" (< LAME attempt) are sort of Rasmus-ish (though everyone can do that), but they are pretty much a signature thing for TR and to this very day, including this new album, they do that.

 

just gonna throw this out there but i just saw Linkin Park's new viddy....and Chester is wearing glasses...unlike peoples speculations, the promo picture isnt just a fashion thing, he has glasses on forreal! lol

Those people are the ones who hate even the slightest change and will hate anything that doesnt sound to their liking, and the whole point of a band is creating what they want and like not what fans tell them to do.

A great song mike made for those fans is "When They Come For Me" where he says "I'm not a robot, I'm not a monkey, I will not dance even if the beats funky, opposite of lazy, far from a punk, ya'll oughta stop talking, start trying to catch up mother fucker"

Burn It Down has the same length with Waiting For The End.. i am looking forward for the new single.... I've notice they are going extensive touring and then HEAD BACK to the Studio to make another record? that is pretty cool...

 

Haha, yeah, even when they deliver arguably what they wanted (Death Magnetic), they still find something to gripe about. I loved Death Magnetic bar Unforgiven III, and the negative response from a lot of fans to this day astounds me.

If you have the tabs for Palm Springs Reset there's similarity. The sound is not very obvious.

 

I feel "Living Things" is good choice for their viral marketing.
when you see / discuss about living things any days, it will (automatically) remind us connected with that album names

 

thats so weird. i remember chester saying back in ht/meteora days that he couldnt see shit without his glasses, so maybe he has some issue with his eye sight slowly getting worst so the laser surgery just kind of bought him time?
