For those disappointed in Linkin Park's lack of rap and angst of late can delight in some Hollywood Undead. Haven't really heard 'em mentioned on here but I love there music (not always their content). Anyway they replaced the 'lead singer' (they've got like 4 vocalists) and have shifted into a more raw and rock direction. I'm against this purely for the fact that it's produced by Don Gilmore. And for the old LP sound. Maybe it's just me. I really can't get into Hollywood Undead at all.
The only Hollywood Undead song I like is that "We are young we are strong" one, and only because it sort of sounds like Meteora era Linkin Park with slightly less obnoxiously over the top lyrics. Nothing else appeals to me, but I will admit this screaming idiot kind of sounds like Chester a tad. Also, this song sounds more Every Six Seconds era Saliva than anything.
To me they actually sound like Meteora era LP with more obnoxious image and lyrics. They seem like a caricature and a byproduct of the nu-metal era. I can't stand this band.
I was going to watch the video and see for myself, but I'm not going to wait 30 more seconds watching an ad for such a crappy band.
Wow... So much hate on Meteora... I thought Meteora was a good album. Hollywood Undead arent a bad band, I just have a hard time relating to their lyrics.

I don't think he sounds anything like Chester. I like Hollywood Undead but I don't take them all that seriously.
I can relate to a few of there songs, like Black Dhalia, but not their west coast gangster complex lolz. I really like half the music, really dislike half. Their lyrics aren't that deep, but I get what they're about, and I like their style. I just couldn't get over how he sounded like Chester in that song. BTW their first album didn't sound very Meteora-ish at all. It was a lot more rap-based, at least production wise.
