    Does AOL Music normally praise albums? Or do they criticize the bad ones and post favorable articles about the good ones?


    I hate those outlets who say something good about every album that comes out. If it's bad, just say its bad.


    But, the way they wrote about MtM makes me truly believe that this album will be AMAZING. I'm just wondering, though.

    i think they even it out pretty well. i've seen some criticism about albums by them here and there, too, but i don't really pay much attention to them so i may be wrong.

    Man, that just makes me more and more excited for this new album! We've been waiting WAY too long for it! May 15th cant seem to come fast enough..!:bounce:

    i just want everyone to keep in mind... of course AOL is going to say its damn good.

    AOL is part of Time Warner.

    Warner is Linkin Park's Label.

    It's all marketing. Newsweek which is owned by Time warner as well was one of the few critics that gave Warner's Superman Returns an amazing review.

    Well, hello Mr. Let's Look At the Bad Side of Things. :lol:

    I don't think Warner has that much control. AOL posts what it wants, just so long as it doesn't break the law and doesn't go against Warner's policies.

    Either way, the good feedback is encouraging. Don't always look at the negative side. It gets you farther in life. ;)

    Anyways, how about them Minutes to Midnight? :lol:

    Actually, now that I think about it, I think Minutes to Midnight will seriously own. I mean, just by listening to the 30 second clip of What I've Done makes me say, "Oh shit, this will be amazing." I can't imagine how amazing the whole album will be.

    yeah they can hype it up all they want ... we still have the clip, so we still have an idea of the new sound, and compared to their previous work, it still doesn't make the cut

    actually to me the clip is a step up from their previose work but it is just a clip so there isn't much that can be said but i think we can trust them

    again with the n00b posts. my gosh. dude, you can't judge a frickin album by a 30 second clip. YOU. JUST. CAN'T. PERIOD. that's like judging a book by it's cover as cliche as that may sound. but it's true.

    and that "it still doesn't make the cut" makes it sound like they owe you something so superbly awesome or something.
