    Damn my excitement level just went through the roof. Never knew someone wearing glasses would be so badass! Gonna go listen to some Meteora now.

    As far as I know he went through a laser surgery because he couldn't see anything without classes. And he couldn't wear them on stage, and he could hardly see the front row. That's what I read in an article a few years back at least xD

    It really seems darker, almost scary. But Chester wearing glasses again, that´s what I call awesome.

    Seriously. These photos look like cast production pictures for a science fiction show. Which isn't bad. :)

    He got laser eye surgery in 2004. Obviously he is wearing glasses as a fashion statement. Many many artists do this.

    Very true. Although, that's 8 years ago now, laser eye surgery isn't a permanent procedure. The results can deteriorate over the course of ten years. His vision was probably never corrected to a full 100% to begin with and I'm guessing now the effects are weakening. May just need them for driving or reading etc. Or he might just want to wear glasses, haha.

    OMFG Chester with glasses again!! he looks just like in Meteora days and I can say that he looks better. Loving the pics! :D!

    Those glasses and the alley setting are almost definitely a throwback to older eras, I think. :)
