New LP Song Coming Sooner Than Expected?

    According to the LPUnderground Newsletter subscribers received as part of their fifth-year LPU membership package, a new Linkin Park song will be appearing on a Machine Shop Mixtape in the coming months. Phoenix writes;

    "So buckle your seatbelts and prepare yourselves for a Linkin Park song like you have never heard in the coming months. This new track will be available exclusively on a future Machine Shop Mixtape, so stay tuned for more info."

    Listen to the man and stay tuned for more info as it surfaces.

    I just find what he said funny. "...prepare yourselves for a Linkin Park song like you have never heard..." Well if it is indeed a new song, then I would guess we have never heard it...

    I think he meant "like you've never heard us before", as in "different" or "Unique" to what we're accustomed to.

    My requirements:
    - Chester scats a chorus
    - Mike does some ragtime piano
    - Phoenix goes Les Claypool-ish
    - Brad Delson repeats the same riff for the first three minutes then does a crazy Zach Wylde shred that lasts rest of the song
    - Rob keeps up with crazy Virgil Donati-esque double bass drum insanity
    - And finally, black metal screams

    If not, I will be so disappointed :(

    OMG....im like crying...SOONER THAN EXPECTED...holy snappin' crap!!!!!! THIS JUST MADE MY NIGHT OMG!!!!!!...*sigh*....ok...now i can't stop smiling...this is soooo awesome!!!

    I hope this song isn't all emo like all other LP songs.
    Seriously I like their lyrics, but these guys are too old now to be all emo.

    this is really sweet news, i can't wait. I've fallen "in love" for LP again, and for once in a long time, i'm excited again.

    the machine shop mixtape, does anyone know if that will be an .mp3 thing like the we major mixtape? or will it be released to the public in CD form(well i guess we major was too, but you know what I mean)

    i hope it sounds something like Chesters part in Rock n Roll because i adore that song... actually i hope that LP makes a full version of that song and release it as a b-side or something on one of their singles... *crosses fingers*

    its more likely to happen than Odatons list :p heehee
