Yeah, I like that we really have no idea who it could be.

NME being on sorta good terms with LP is quite odd, considering lots of their articles bashed the band back in the day.

They probably still hate their music though HAHA

Don't NME bash most music that isn't from an English artist?

I honestly don't remember why I stopped following NME on Twitter but I'm thinking this might have been the reason

While this interview didn't reveal much, it certainly generated some buzz. Mike is kind of secretive when it comes to LP, isn't he?

They've bashed a lot of mainstream English artists too, and they've given glowing reviews to American singers and bands as well. One example can be Coldplay; they kinda hated them for a while (I mean they hated Viva la Vida, for god's sake), but I think went back on good terms with them after Ghost Stories.

I really thought something like this would be on THP. I hope they do follow some form of Folk-influenced path. COG was a huge success and TBT I listen to all the time as well. Something so haunting about it! But I digress...

Viva La Vida was INCREDIBLE! Do they have amateur writers? Seem to be VERY subjective...

Most publications are just as opinionated.

They just come off so biased. This is true for some other publications but this ragged and almost immature reviews?

I think I've mentioned it before, but really the only mainstream genre I can think of that LP have never really dived into is acoustic music. They've done rock, pop, electronic, rap, but haven't really done much acoustic music. Whenever they have dabbled in it, the results have been surprisingly good. CoG, TBT, FM Acoustic, The Messenger (even though the vocals turn me off a bit sometimes, the instrumental is on point), all great songs. I'd love to see an album with the rawness and instrumental skill of THP, the folk influences from LT, the album flow of ATS and the orchestration of MtM all rolled into one.

Is that too much to ask for? :(

It's really hard not to be on point when switching between the most common 4 chords.
