Iridescent probably, but I hope for Burning In The Skies or Wretches And Kings. These two really deserve some more attention.
I'd like to add to this that I saw a copy of Audio Secrecy by Stone Sour, and Digital (Did You Tell) was NOT on the sticker, even though it was the second single (or third, not totally sure I would consider Mission Statement a single). So that is some indication that Iridescent doesn't HAVE to be a single just because it is on the sticker.
You'd think they way Leave Out All The Rest bombed so hard years back they would lay off ballad singles like Iridescent.
I hope they do a wretches and kings one.... It would be a bad ass video with Mike being like the president and Chester leading a army of people causing disaster aka From the Inside style
Exactly. In fact, I think that almost every single album I've bought has had at least one song featured on a sticker that didn't make it as a single.
I hope for blackout. When I listen to the song I see chesters voice destroy everything. But then mike comes in, his voice rebuilds the destruction. But everything is better then before. Maybe an idea for a music video.
After "Iridescent", I think they'd need to put out a single that's really, really different from that song. So "Wretches" would be good in that sense, to show people more of just how broad the album is.
I think the smartest choice for Linkin Park today would be to release Iridescent as a single. It doesn't stray too far from their highest charting singles and is a safer choice than The Catalyst was. So I voted for that. But I would really enjoy Wretches & Kings or Blackout as singles. I think that although it seems that they might not do well chart-wise, they could actually do really well. Plus, the videos would likely be fucking awesome.
I think "Burning In The Skies" would be a great single for the band. I can picture the music video as well, with the band walking through a train yard at night, with fire and smoke around them. Also, I have a feeling that "Wretches And Kings" will be the final single, though I'm not sure why I have this feeling, lol.
It's probably difficult to shoot a video during a world tour to promote your new album, lol. And if it's shot, on Joe's part, it must be difficult to edit such said video when you're DJ-ing during a world tour to promote your band's new album. Fear not, for Iridescent is coming.
That's what I was thinking, with a world tour going on they'd have no time to promote singles. An Iridescent MV would be fantastic
