Oh, shit, they're not the first band to do this? I can appreciate these lyrics more now, wow. :kappa:

Doesn't matter who did what when. Bad lyrics are bad lyrics.

I did feel like putting something up like "just like Green Day," but I didn't want to bring the thread down by mentioning that band. :halfkappa:

Well, that was one of the more annoying lyric videos I've seen.

The lyrics could've done better than that, but the rest of the music still sounds great for arena tours. I'm waiting for their next single. I hope it's a bit better than this song.

I don't know why but I like when Nickelback is unabashedly dirty.

Animals is great, most of Dark Horse is pretty decent for this reason. Gotta Get Me Some is the only song I could stand off of Here and Now.

Rumors afloat that "Edge of a Revolution" is going to make it's way onto the Mockingjay Part I soundtrack. As much as I love Nickelback, I hope to god this doesn't happen.

    :dafuq:

There's no way "Edge of a Revolution" should even TOUCH Mockingjay: Part I.

I hope this rumor is actually true because rock music is pretty, if not, very rare on the last two Hunger Games soundtrack albums. Most of it are folk, indie/alternative pop, and occasionally country. I bet one of the songs from RA's The Black Market and LP's The Hunting Party are part of it for the upcoming film too. The soundtrack for the series needs a bit more variety, musically.

I wouldn't put money on that. The Hunger Games are like pop music in movie (Don't get me wrong, I love the movies).

Considering Lorde is going to have a single off of the Mockingjay soundtrack, I really doubt we're going to see Nickelback on it. Straight up Rock music just doesn't sell well anymore, even if it is Nickelback.

But Lorde was the winner of Blillboard's best rock song of the year, so your logic is flawed there.

I'm not expecting it to be a full rock soundtrack album like what the Avengers had, just two and three rock tunes and that's it. Also making a track list of most the of same music genres might not always be the case financially and commercially for the entertainment industries, but only time will tell.

Lorde is actually alternative pop. They're just calling her a rock musician in name only not musically.
