The show goes on tonight in Arlington, Texas! The band is set to take the stage in Texas for the first time since back in 2015. Linkin Park is back in the US for the first time since their performance in New York on September 16th. Following a busy week in Europe for the band, during which they performed "Heavy Is the Crown" in London at the League of Legends 2024 Worlds Opening Ceremony, then headlined a full show in Paris, the band will perform at the Globe Life Stadium tonight, home of MLB's Texas Rangers. Have a look at the official upload of the majestic performance of "Heavy Is the Crown" from London below, if you haven't already! The band are no strangers to Texas, having performed there 38 times during their career, making Texas their second most visited US state, only behind their home state of California. Of these 38 performances, certainly the most notable are the two from August 2003, when the band recorded their first live album, "Live in Texas" in Houston and Irving. The live album was re-released last year as part of the Meteora 20th Anniversary release, featuring songs that were previously omitted from the CD release. On this occasion, the band also uploaded all the individual performances, and even the full DVD to YouTube in HD. Check out the legendary performance of "A Place for My Head" below, or listen to the full thing right here if you have the time. Most recently, the band absolutely rocked Paris' La Défense Arena in front of some 40,000 fans (yes, you read that right!) with a 2-hour show that featured the live debut of "Over Each Other", the newest single from From Zero, which drops in only a week! For the first time with the new lineup, the band performed the Paris show with the traditional stage setup, rather than the new center-positioned stage. This meant the break between "One Step Closer" and "Lost" could be shortened as there was no need for the crew to rotate the all of the band's equipment. "Over Each Other" found its place in the setlist between the Mike solo portion of the show and "Lost In the Echo", and featured Emily playing guitar for the first time with the band. Check out a lovely 4K video of the performance below. The band is in absolutely top form live right now, so the crowd in Texas is in for a treat tonight. Set C was performed in Paris, so Set A or Set B, which has so far only been perfomed in London in September are more likely to be played. Are you coming to the show in Arlington tonight? What songs are you most excited to hear? Are you hoping for a debut of more From Zero material, and if so, what songs have piqued your interest the most based on our track by track impressions? I wonder if there is a small chance "All For Nothing" gets played, given the fact Helmet is doing one of the openings. I remember Mike saying it'd have been a fun one to play live. Have fun @Gibs @minusxerø (and others I'd have missed) !
Bad Omens and LP, what a combo. I saw Bad Omens live earlier this year and they were amazing. Noah Sebastian has incredible vocal range and he has mentioned in interviews how LP / Chester inspired their band, how he'd love to collab with LP, and he even wrote a song inspired by Chester's passing. It would be really cool if LP brought him out on a song today! Have fun, guys!
You’re right, the water bottle is the easy choice! As a large fat man that’s going to be in the pit for 4 hours, I might need it.
I'd absolutely love it if they played All For Nothing live, one of my favourites from THP! I can already imagine Page Hamilton singing the chorus and Emily screaming the "You Say" lyrics, lol Also, I miss Guilty All The Same
They did it finally. After teasing us the last time they were in the same place as Page, they finally delivered! Justice for AFN has been served! EDIT: CASUALTY LIVE DEBUT. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
