Woeful display from Argentina once again, and somehow they end up with a win. It's ridiculous... Won't get too far I think.
What a goal from Messi! But another weak game from Argentina. They will not go far with that coach. ''Messi is carrying a disorganized Argentina team on his shoulders.'' - I saw this on Facebook and this is exactly what is happening.
i dont understand how germany let ghana control the game and nealy win. they probably expected an easy victory
Ozil is just bad He was good with Real Madrid and the first 4-5 games with Arsenal , after that, just downhill. Hope for Ghana that they come through the group in the end. With Germany.
Nice work Nigeria, sorry Bosnia. And again @Superxero. Maybe i am wrong with Ozil at Arsenal, but in the German Team he wasnt THAT good. He disappointet imo. Nothing against him , but i think he slows down someway.
The 2nd half between Germany and Ghana was very interesting. Germany players were definitely affected by the warm weather. Not a surprise though, Ghana players are probably more used to this weather condition. Klose legend! I didn't watch the Nigeria game. I wasn't expecting them to win it though. They were very bad in the first match. Too bad for Bosnia.
i doubt argentina will get to through next fase, they are in a weak group and barely win. when they face a real team they will have no chance
Not necessarily. There has often been a trend that big teams which start off the competition in "slow mode" level up their game match after match and end up going very far, or even winning the cup. For instance, Italy started the 82 World cup in an awful way, conceiding tied games against Peru, Camerun, and Poland. They still somehow managed to qualify to the next round. What happened next? They beated one of the strongest Brazil team of all time, eliminated the Argentina of Maradona, Poland, and Germany in the final. They won the World cup that year. I quoted an italian example since I'm familiar with their football, but there are many more
They probably will manage to go through I think, even if they still don't play that well. Because they will probably face either Switzerland or Ecuador, which aren't really strong teams. But if they face something like France, Germany or whatever in the next round (I'm not sure who they might face) , they will then be in trouble. They have a very weak defense and their coach is retarded. But they have Messi, which can change a game with one touch only. But depending on one player only is really risky.
