lol you seem to really like to make threads about individual bands ( or in this case a genre) anywho I like daft punk though their songs seem to drag on and repeat

this seems strange imo, but it seems like i change favorite bands like every two weeks :p they'll be stuck with me for awhile and I'll be browsing LPA and I'll be like "there's not a thread for this yet, lol" so I just make one myself. this was the case for pretty much all of my Other Music posts except for Drake and The Fray. for those, i just got bored and felt like posting something :p

yeah. anyways, I've never really noticed Daft's repetitiveness until Human After All. As soon as I heard Robot Rock, I was like "Repetitive much? :p" And then I heard the rest of the album. Terrible under DP's standards, but not a bad album nonetheless

Yeah I haven't looked too deep into the band or the genre for that matter. I'll have to check out their earlier stuff

I'm still waiting to see Daft Punk live. I don't dance at concerts usually, but I can't help but assume I'd be shaking my ass until the sun comes up if I ever did.

    I really like SBTRKT.

I just listened to Filmic (it was the first one I found) and it sounded amazing - I'll check out the rest of the album.

Edit: Just bought the album on iTunes. This album is awesome, thanks JJ.

I've seen these guys live.. and to be honest I couldn't see how a live DJ set would work.

But needless to say these guys where absolutely fantastic! A must for any fan of this genre!

I LOVE deadmau5. Apparently he lives like 1 hour from me XD

House in general is amazing, except when it gets mixed with pop. Then it becomes kinda awful.

    O_O
    I wish I was you :3

And I agree, Aphex can be a bit overrated sometimes, but I love Come to Daddy and AFX237 v7.
