There's some really great songs on this album ("Good Soldier", "Capital G", "The Great Destroyer", "Zero-Sum", "In This Twilight"), as well as some songs I know will grow on me. I'm not ready to deem this the greatest NIN album ever, though....yet.

listened to it yesterday, hated it because it didn't seem to fit in my style of music (I love nu-metal and rock and such, but gave this a chance). I absolutely hated it.

Today I listen to it again with an open mind and just accepted a new genre into my vast collection and listened to it for what it's worth/who they are and it is fucking amazing. I love just about every song.

the part in "The Great Destroyer" makes me laugh, when all of a sudden, it goes into a galactic-like sound... "I am the great destroyerrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!"

I've listened to this quite a few times over the last few days and I'm not ready to say it's the best NIN album (yet), but i'd have to say it is by far the catchiest NIN album. Every damn song on this album is extremley catchy and it's hard not to play each song over and over again. I will definatley be going out to pick this one up.

I loved that amazing harmony in Great Destroyer.
I loved how amazing of an intro HYPERPOWER! is.
I love how similar "God Given" is to "SexyBack"
I love how "Capital G" is the new awitha teetha, and sounds like michael jackson.

and i find another version of the truth boring as hell.

    on reference to the ARG...

    HUZZAH.

i hate to double post but...

its not connected to my former post.

Darren Kroupa, who was in a picture with trent and gang on the nin.com photos, and was mentioned in the ARG at one point, passed away this morning in his battle with cancer. He was 23.

He got to meet Trent thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation, and got more than he ever hoped for. May God bless his family and friends.

Which also reminds me, condolences to the Reznor family on the loss of Trent's grandfather George Watson Reznor.
