Official Photography Thread...Part 3?

I went macro crazy. Here are the two that passed.

Hey guys, I actually have a request for a photograph, if that's cool. Whoever is interested I could Paypal them $5 or something. Nothing extravagant, I just don't have the equipment to take the photo.

 

Of what and why?

 

Well, it's of a light post on a street, daytime, for my new Myspace layout I'ma put together. I want to have the whole "lost" look to it, so I'm going to put together something that has my lost picture on a light post in some urban environment. I'm going to superimpose my picture on there, but I would need someone to staple a white piece of paper on the post.

So you pretty much want a picture of a lamp post which has a piece of paper taped on it? Oo

 

Yeah, as grungy as possible, preferably in the left third of the frame, so I can put info in the right third. The background being the street or sidewalk behind it, basically emulating taking a photo of a "lost" flyer of an animal or person or something stapled onto a lamp post.

 

Thanks. I really need a dSLR and some good lenses/filters to go with it, that shot would have looked much better with a wide-angle lens.

Whoa, I've looked at that picture a few times before, and just now I notice the guy on the right.

Anthony - That's car fire picture looks fucking awesome.

 

That's what I go for in all my photos. Something new in consequent viewings.

FYI, "two companions" refers to the two people, and "old friend" is the pink neon sign in the distance.

 

Excellent then.

And yes, that's what I figured. I knew the pink sign had something to do with it, it always does.
