I can assure you guys the prize is NOT a xero tape. It's something less common then that. It doesn't have music on it, but it's not something just floating around on eBay [and we'd probably kill you if you won it and tried to sell it ]. Excited yet?

I don't get why the prize would be funny either.

 

Because someone hot may have came in contact with this prize when it was used.

Just to clear the air, apparently there are some awfully ludicrous and silly rumors going around that LPL/LPA are going to be giving the album out two months early, which is impossible because there are no release dates even announced yet. This is simply not true, and how it even got started is beyond us, but we'd like to squash the rumor now before it gains any momentum. The band never said the album would be out in July (except for a guess by Chester which is now obviously wrong), and if you see any reports saying the album is coming out in two months it's best to ignore it. If the album was coming out in July, we'd have a single by now as well as an album title. It's just simply not true, and whoever has been deliberately spreading these lies is [for lack of a better word] an attention seeking idiot. =]

 

Because hyping is much more fun and evil then just doing the big reveal four days prematurely?

And believe me, you'll all want to enter this when you see it. That is, assuming you're all LP fans!
