haha.. hybridtheory_gc... you are such a demowhore! anyway, yes I've heard of it. I don't have it but I'll look around and if I find it I'll confirm it for you.
Yeah, I honestly doubt that this is legit. After all, there's a lot of tracks that you want that aren't real. For example, Linkin Park never sang "Dont Remember" I dont know how many times I gotta tell people its not LP.
So the one from Chestersings.tk is a remix and Don't remember does not feature LP. thanks for the info you guys. A friend of mine told me that some band members have confirmed it in interviews but i'll ask him for some proof.
Actually, "Paranoia" has never been a confirmed title... (taken from a post Mike did as a journal piece during the meteora recording process, 10th july 2002) A demo undoubtedly exists, in the hands of WB & LP, but it has never been released on any CD seen so far, promo, internal or otherwise.
i always wondered about what docklands papercut demo everyone talked about. damn, i just realized that the lp community is so blessed by a lack of media knowledge *ROFL* this remixed papercut version (supposed to be remixed by mike *falls off from chair*) is a radio recording of papercut. thats it, nothing remixed! it's played live with a special mix because it was recorded in a studio. have you guys ever watched frat party? you can see chester and mike standing in a box and record vocals while the rest of the band is outside of the box and play their instruments. the song they record in that scene is points of authority, and guess what? yes, exactly! poa was recorded in that radio session as well, wooo. same with in the end by the way (all recordings can be found on some of the HT singles). and everyone claimed that THIS version was supposed to be "paranoid" (a title that never existed...) OUCH
When he says a slightly different version does he mean that the lyrics have been altered slightly or the music is different or it just wasn't sung the same? You've heard it? can u tell us about it?? I really want to hear this song, along with Plaster
A demo of papercut exists for sure but it was never released and the title Paranoia never existed too. Sorry for all the mumbo jumbo this may have caused.
i've heard of it too, but, yeah, it was never actually confirmed to exist. much like plaster - all existent versions are just one step closer under different file names. are you guys even sure there is actually a papercut demo?
