This means that POD will be releasing a new track for this soundtrack. The soundtrack is due to hit stores the same day as the DVD, on Aug. 31st.

I love POD but I didn't like many songs on their last self titled CD. So I hope this ones good. I bet it will sound kind of like youth of the Nation. I doubt they would do anything much faster for something inspired by The Passion.

I predicted they would make a song for this soundtrack, it was just a matte of time

oh come on it was a pretty damn accurate depiction of "what happened to christ." The only knock is that it was really long but that was to be expected. Anyhow any new music by POD is good news to me.

Yeah, while it may be 'accurate', doesn't mean it was a 'OMGBESTMOVIEEVAR' type movie. It sucked.

Casey, no offense, but your posts in this thread sound like something I'd see on the LPMB. You're entitled to your opinion on the movie, but for crap's sakes, back it up with reasoning.

    Okay.

It was nothing special in my opinion. The movie is about Jesus, so what? I mean, the story of Satan could be exactly like this movie, with accurate tellings and great acting, but people would #### on it because it's associated with Satan.

I think people give it to much credit.

So because people give it too much credit leads to come up with an opinion that says this movie sucks. Nobody said it was the best movie ever, because it certainly wasn't. But to depict christs life it takes a hell of a job and they certainly did that. But whatever the topic was supposed to be about the POD song and somehow you got it off topic by stating that is wasn't a good movie.

Passion Of The Christ was way overated. I didn't like it that much because it wasn't special in any way and not any different than the other billion jesus movies that has been made.

Passion Of The Christ came off as a B-Movie at best to me and didn't seem to be anywhere close to the "best movie ever" when I saw it. Accurate or not, I didn't feel "changed" after watching it, and I definetely felt that Gibson went over the top with a lot of the parts in the movie. After watching gore scene after gore scene, the constant blood and guts didnt even come off as a surprise to me anymore.

Sure it was an accurate depiction of Christ, but I've seen much better movies based off of Jesus Christ then the highly overrated "Passions".

I thought this thread was about P.O.D? I mean, if we all wanna just go rant and piss on movies, that's the Kickback Cafe.

Anyway, I figured P.O.D. would be on there. Scott Stapp, formerly of Creed, is on there too. Not that I'm interested in hearing anything from him.
