Pendulum Cover 'The Catalyst'

    In todays edition of the world famous BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, UK-based Alternative/Drum 'n' Bass act Pendulum (who were one of the opening bands for Linkin Park's Road To Revolution: Live At Milton Keynes DVD show) gave a surprise rendition of the first single from A Thousand Suns, 'The Catalyst'. The cover, which has been been moulded into a typical Pendulum-style song containing heavy DNB style beats and a strong electronic prescence synonymous with their sound, can be listened to below:

    Crazy.
    I think its too fast though. Its actually awesome though.

    I think it's awesome. It's made even more awesome by the fact that next to LP, Pendulum are one of my favourite bands. :D

    it sounds cool, but i feel like the mixing not done well, the voice looks a bit far ... don't know :( !

    I listened to it again - and holy fuck is this awesome.
    I am going to listen to more of these guys.

    Haha, I was totally expecting it to transition into the beat for 'Witchcraft' at around 1:15.

    Good listen though, I quite like it

    I agree with Luke, nice to see two of my favourite bands combining...and the result is as expected :D

    It actually sounds not bad... better than I expected!! But I still prefer the original! :D

    the electro sound on this cover is AWESOME. but i dont really like the vocals tho..

    I like the original better, but this is kind of a neat interpretation.
