So I've been experimenting with photography the past couple of months, and came up with what I think are some of my more...nicer pictures out of the 30-ish roles of film I went through altogether. Black and White: Horses - home Clouds - home Tractor - home Racetrack- home My Brother - California Dilapidated House - California Colour: Sunset - home Sunset 2 - home Sunset 3 - home Racetrack - home As I said before, I'm just experimenting. Still some things I need to work on..a lot actually. Centering for one. EDIT: Forgot one. Black and White shot of the racetrack added.
Again, I thank everyone for their comments! Very much appreciated. Danny- I took that picture while we were visiting the redwood forest in California. The trees there were massive but absolutely stunning.
i like your framing. you did very well in choosing when to use colour. i love how the trees/horizon is black and the clouds are the things that stand out. something about blk&whte is just so magical. i love pictures in blk and white. there just seems to be so much more depth. very good pictures. i wish i was in photography and had the recources for it.
those are nice. the only advice i have for you is on the tractor picture, try dodging and burning and make the area of the tractor maybe half a second less than the scenery in exposure. that is if you develop your own film. if not, just ignore that i was going to mention the centering, but then i saw you already did. nonetheless they are great
