K, i just want to know wat songs people can play on guitar that is linkin park I can play faint, somewhere i belong, pushing me away, hit the floor, numb,in the end.
I can play the piano chords from "In the End" and the bells from the beginning of "Crawling." That's about all I ever cared to learn.
I can do a couple of songs on the piano, but I haven't done them for a while. Guitar? Nah. I only got as far as Hotel California and Runaway Train before I moved (and I sure as hell don't remember then now), never bothered with Linkin Park.
I used to play a lot of their songs, but I didn't realized that I needed to play in Drop D, and by the time I knew what that was, I lost interest in LP.
I can play everything that's even somewhat related to the band on guitar. (FM songs, Rock and Roll Part 2, Walking Dead, Karma Killer, etc., in addition to all the LP album tracks) Not trying to brag or anything, their songs are really really easy for the most part.
Yes, they are. I can play every Linkin Park song (remixes included) on the guitar. And any of the Linkin Park or Fort Minor piano/keyboard parts I can play on the piano. They aren't really that hard. Especially since Brad plays in Drop B.
I can play KRWLNG, the Breaking the Habit intro, Numb and In The End on piano; Numb, Faint, From The Inside, Crawling, Pushing Me Away, and some others on electric bass; and KRWLNG, Faint and Breaking the Habit on violin.
I know the Xero songs were drop D or standard tuning, but I always thought the EP was all in drop C#. It doesn't really matter though, And One is the only song on the EP where Brad hits the low C# anyway.
Ah. Most tabs I've seen have the EP in D. Maybe that's why they don't sound right when my buddy plays them.
About the album songs(hybrid theory and meteora),they are all dropped in Db except from don't stay i think that is dropped to drop B
I'm gonna go all perfectionist here, lol... All songs are in Drop Db except: Runaway: 7-string standard tuning (BEADGBE) With You: 7-string standard tuning (BEADGBE) A Place for My Head: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb Forgotten: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb Don't Stay: B F# B E G# C# Nobody's Listening: B F# B E G# C# Easier To Run: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb (Guitar 1) Bb F Bb Eb G C (Guitar 2) Somewhere I Belong: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb (Guitar 1) Bb F Bb Eb G C (Guitar 2) Live they do things a little differently, Brad doesn't use 7 strings anymore so on With You and Runaway he plays a 6 string tuned BEADGB, and on Easier to Run/Somewhere I Belong, Mike (Guitar 2 listed above) plays in Drop Db and just plays the really low notes an octave higher than they are on the album versions.
