RESULTS (Posters = 47 = Maximum of 220 points per single song): Updated 6/4/12 @ 2:03 pm Eastern *Note: Just because some songs have more "points", than other songs on different albums, does not necessarily mean they are generally liked more since some albums have more or less songs to disperse points throughout (ex: A Thousand Suns has a lot of interludes and fewer songs than the other albums). *Note #2: I did not include Kameiko's votes because he had the same exact top 5's as mine for all albums and they were hardly different and I don't think those are accurate results. Can't tell if you don't like Meteora or you're saying every song deserves to be above 1 Well, these results are not as I expected. All in all, Hybrid Theory is the only semi-legit result
I was surprised as well to be honest. I think since I'm new, I just don't know the community that well. I prefer the harder, more rock-sounding LP with the guitar riffs instead of the newer more electronic LP, but still love the new too. And I like the heavier songs over the slower ballad-type ones. How do I attach a spreadsheet for anyone interested in seeing the breakdown more clearly and in a more detailed fashion?

Same here, dude. I'm new to this community and I'm surprised at the amount of people who enjoy ATS more than their original stuff
well, I would've included "no roads left" as my no.1 but thought we were limited on what's the official tracklist. I would prefer that, actually.
Change By Myself place with In The End place + Leave Out All The Rest with any other MTM song, and I would be happy with those results

A surprising amount of people at the LPA prefer the softer more experimental tracks the band has made (especially from ATS). Meanwhile through experience I have seen that LP Live far prefers the heavier material. I myself see the technical marvel and greatness in the softer songs, but in my heart I've always preferred rocking out to the band's heavier tracks. I guess it depends on my current mood. For example, I'm surprised that LOATR ranked so high on Minutes To Midnight. I find it to be a generic, bland pop song (this coming from someone who voted The Little Things at #1 and In Pieces at #2). Just goes to show the range of tastes this community has!
Results updated through this post of mine (added 3 more posters' votes) Blackout jumped ahead of both "When They Come For Me" and "Waiting For The End".

But it makes my MTM top 5 based solely on lyrics. I think the lyrics in that song are some of the most beautiful the band has ever written, so even though I don't listen to the song much, I have to give it credit.
I agree so much with this that it is ridiculous. Since I know the 2 sites, I've always seen LPA as the "soft stuff fan base", and LPL as the "heavier stuff fan base", but it's the first time I see somebody saying it And I have the same opinion about LOATR.
I will attest to this, LPL seems to like the heavier stuff. Meteora is my favorite album and I still think they overrate Figure.09 over there. I like experimental, heavy, rap/rock, electronic, and MTM- type stuff, ballads, and everything. What's awesome is that LP has such a different catalogue of sounds and songs, they are truely awesome!

It's true. And it makes sense if you think about it. LPL is focused on the live aspect of the band, and no matter what sound you prefer, I think we can all agree that the earlier stuff is the best live music for the band hands down.
While that's true it also reminds me when the new godly setlist was revealed and I said the only thing that is missing from it is Blackout. I basically got flamed on LPL for even considering it. All I got in return was "F**k who needs Blackout, we got With You and APFMH!!" I thought it was pretty ridiculous since Blackout is always a highlight of any show its a part of.
Thanks for the reply I totally agree with you on that Leave Out All the Rest sounds poppy and generic, which makes it one of my least favourite LP songs. I like A Thousand Suns but felt like they made a bad decision excluding the guitars for the remainder of the album. I'm not usually into electronic music and some of the album did bore me, but nonetheless it was still a worthwhile experiment and what they choose to do, I admire them for it. On the other hand, the latest single Lies Greed Misery is kick-ass and so incredibly energetic I was jumping around and breaking stuff to it. Definitely a step up as a band and I can honestly say it's a favourite for me. Anyway, thanks for telling me about this community and what their tastes are, I still remain as an absolute Meteora lover though
