Maxime was playing Rainbox Six Vegas two nights ago on his 360 when suddenly it stopped playing. When he took it out there was a large crack, which started in the middle. When he went back to the gameshop they told him he was too rough with his games, which is absolute crap cause his games are holy to him. Now we just checked all his other games and some games have a starting crack in the middle, but they still work. He's afraid to play those now because with the turning of the game the crack will only get bigger. Do you think this is because of his Xbox or because the games are just too damn hard to take out sometimes? Have you ever experienced this with your games?
It sounds to me like something is wrong with the CD drive in the 360. You may need to send it into Microsoft because it seems like the 360 is breaking the CDs.
I told him your reply Derek, but he thinks it's more the discs's problem since it starts in the middle where the hole is...so we're thinking about too tight gameboxes. But I find it too risky to just keep on playing, so we'll see. He's going to the gameshop tomorrow and tell them the problem and see what they think. Thanks for replying.
http://xbox360.qj.net/Microsoft-owns-up-to-Xbox-360-s-disc-scratching-problem/pg/49/aid/89569 Its not the games, it's the system. I suggest contacting Microsoft to see what you can do about it before all your games are ruined.
This one is from the article. This is Rainbow Six Vegas. Maxime's disc isn't scratched, just that crack. But maybe he should contact Microsoft?
