This is how Webster's II New Riverside Dictionary defines punk:

punk- 1. a young inexperienced or insignificant person 2. A young hoodlum 3. Of inferior quality 4. Of, relating to, or being a purposefully bizarre style of dress affected by punk rock groups

First of all that is some bullsh#t. I'm not saying that I'm punk or anything but plenty of my friends are. I was amazed and pissed off what the dictionary thought to be "punk". Insignificant and of inferior quality?!?! What the hell is that about? NExt lets look at the definition of preppie:

preppie- a student or young adult who dresses and behaves tradtionally and conservatively

Well what do you think? They just left out the part of them being stuck up and annoying! (no offense to any preppies that are not like this)

punk rock- hard rock music marked by themes of bitter hostility toward established society

Ok so maybe the punk rock one is somewhat accurate but do they really have to use the words bitter hostility?

What do you think about this? Speak up, don't be shy....
