    I think Chester has lost some of his voice when it's live, yes. He has always had normal voice - halfscreaming - full screaming. He only have normal voice - full screaming now.

    Just listen to Live In Texas Numb and Numb at Summer Sonic (the chorus) for instance. In Live In Texas he keeps the halfscreaming voice in all the choruses but at Summer Sonic he only has some small power sports and the rest of the chorus is song normally.

    btw Given Up is sounding awesome.

    Holy crap that has to be the worst thing I've ever heard Linkin Park make. I don't like that screaming, sounds awfull.

    I joined here because my sister used to go here and because I have a boring life I signed up aswell. I don't mind listening to Linkin Park, it's just not really my thing, anyways, I'm still around here because I like the forum and the people. :)

    good vocalists can scream without damaging there voices.. chester is one of them
    thats how he can scream on songs when they play live take from the inside when thats played live

    they played from the inside at pritty much every show and the screaming in the bridge of that is just as heavy as the screaming in given up. as well as alot of other LP songs where there is alot of screaming.... i mean qwery is realy heavy on screaming and he pulls that off just fine.

    singing this live will be a piece of cake for chester and totaly awsome

    Ah ok thanks for clearing that up :)

    With Given Up do people find it has no rhythm in the screaming part? It still sounds good but I feel the screaming doesn't go that well with the guitar.

    Just for the record, not everyone who posts here is a huge Linkin Park fan. In fact some members really could care less about them but joined this website for the strong community we have and the cool people you can meet from across the world. Alternatively there's people who used to be strongly into the band, but have since moved on to other things...staying here simply because they made a lot of friends along the way.

    For those complaining about Given Up's hardness..it has almost the exact same sound as Faint. Fast chorus with a lot of screaming, bridge with growled vocals..its basically Faint but harder and without the rapping. Seriously, it's not all that different when you take it at face value.

    Wow, I'm surprised we got some people here hating this song..i find this one minute clip absolutely amazing..never heard Chester like that before, and i just love it. A big difference, but i think for the good.

    I wasn't expecting ANOTHER clip of Given up already!!!

    Jesus Christ! This is seriously the heaviest song they've done so far - and yet No More Sorrow is heavier?!?!?

    That bridge is insane!

    That's exactly how I feel. I don't think it goes well with the guitar. The screaming seems to be off.
