New QOTSA album was announced to be released in June titled ...Like Clockwork. I got an email titled "RUNNING IN A DREAM IN A CODEINE CABARET" giving me a link to their website, which just shows this: and plays a guitar riff, which is what I'm assuming to be part of the lead single. Any of you guys looking forward to this album?
I am looking forward to this. A LOT. Elton John will be on it, Trent Reznor will be on it, Dave Grohl will be drumming and above all that, it's the Queens!
I'm excited. I seem to be one of the few people I know of who thought Era Vulgaris was really good, so I don't buy that they're on a downward slide. Plus Dave Grohl being back on the drums is always a positive.

No we're talkin'! simply cannot wait for this, QOTSA are a tremendous band. Love all 5 of their albums with "Songs for the Deaf" being my favourite. I'm sure this new album will be just as good as their previous efforts.

Finally got around to listening to this. I'm 7 tracks in. It's really good! Really like "I Sat By The Ocean" and "Fairweather Friends". Edit: Wow, first time hearing the extended version of I Appear Missing. Amazing.
