It's also in the Oxford English Dictionary and used to refer to the keyboard layout it comes from. That and there are plenty of words in the English language that can be spelt with a q without a u, although most of these have been naturalised from other languages. And apparently cinquefoil can be spelt without the u and e. So yeah.
