    :partyminus:

I was very disappointed with LGM the first time I've heard it... which made LT a pleasant surprise because my expectations were so low...

    You did it to yourself.

I was browsing the Linkin Park subreddit yesterday and came across this, Instagram post by Ryu, that was linked in the thread

Apparently Ryu and Mike where hanging out together a few weeks ago, I think they were doing art (the background of the picture looks like they were setup to do some art). They could be just hanging out, but I can't help but jump on the hype train!

Sometimes I wonder what I want LP to do next, then I listen to this and all of my dreams come true. Just imagine what they could do with stuff like this.

    I do my best :p

It would be interesting, I kind of hope they continue with the whole Hunting Party direction but add more elements to the sound, but knowing Linkin Park, they love to flip things up. So I'm ready for a total curve ball with LP7

This absolute comedian at my work created a playlist on my itunes called "When Lincoln Park were actually good"; and it's just track 1-12 of Hybrid Theory

Even if I were in a good mood right now, I'm not sure I'd be able to laugh at that. Especially not when "The Hunting Party" exists. Pathetic that any casuals could still think that "Hybrid Theory" is good next to that album.

He doesn't even like HT (or anything else by LP), but he knows it winds me up when people only know LP by the old stuff or "that song with Jay-Z"

I bet whatever acts he likes are creatively stagnant compared to LP. Odds are good.

Has anyone else notice that Brad has seemingly created a Twitter account? Mentioned and followed by the official LP account yesterday. Maybe nobody cares. Poor BBB. :( https://twitter.com/braddelson

I'd like to see LP go in a more progressive rock direction, á la Mark The Graves. I feel like LP7 will be more electronic influenced, though, similar to Living Things.

I'm assuming most people just don't care about an account that has zero tweets. Plus the account isn't verified, so a lot of people might think the account is fake.

"Mark The Graves" is one of the finest jams the band has ever written. Damn great stuff.

As much as I want to agree with that sentiment (being the Prog nerd I am), they also went more Progressive on A Line in the Sand, and that was flat out terrible IMO.

    This.^
