Does anyone know of any big differences between the We Major and Rising Tied versions of Be Somebody, Remember The Name, and Petrified? I noticed a few small changes, such as the intros and outros of the songs, but I haven't noticed anything else.

The versions on the mixtape are promotional edits that were also made to transition with the tracks surrounding them, so that all the tracks on the mixtape would come together as a mix. Those tracks were included on the mixtape so people that could hear the songs as they would appear on the then-upcoming album. :)

Be Somebody is mostly the same on both versions. On the mixtape, the Be Somebody hook is played over the outro of the previous track, Get It, before the song actually begins. The mixtape version also lacks Mike's voiceover on the outro that's found on the album version (it has a voiceover by Green Lantern instead).

Remember the Name has a shortened intro on the mixtape, as it transitions out of the end of Cover and Duck. The outro is also completely cut, instead it ends with the beat dropping out on the last line of the final hook, which leads into Petrified.

Petrified has a shortened intro on the mixtape, with a bunch of extra scratching over it. The ending has a "turntable slowing down" type effect on it that leads into the mixtape outro.

There's also the 5-track Sampler Mixtape that was sent out to the street team, which has additional alternate versions of Remember the Name, Dolla, Get It, and Petrified, plus an intro track that's not found on any other release.
