    My mom and dad saw the 2nd plane hit live on television. They remember everyone originally thinking it was some freak accident (engine failure perhaps?) and how it was being broadcast live on every station with people trying to figure out what happened. Then all of a sudden my mom notices this black shape floating across the screen followed by another explosion. It was then that they realized that this was deliberate and that New York was in the middle of a large scale terrorist attack.

    I'll never forget waking up and walking down there right after the 2nd plane hit, with my mom in outright shock wondering who could've done such a thing. It was only a little while later that my mom was in the bathroom and the news channel cut to the Pentagon saying we have been attacked again, and that all major U.S. Cities are on alert, in fear that more attacks were to come.

    Fortunately the terrorists never made it far enough to do such a thing, but considering I had friends in LA, Philadelphia and NYC...that was one of the most terrifying days I will ever remember. I can only pray that we will never have to experience it again.

    Exactly, even over here, we followed it on the news at the moment it happened in school.

    I was scared stiff, I didn't understand what had happened, but when I got home from school I watched all the news and I fully understood.
    It really changed how I think about life, America and how if something like that ever happened in my country we'd be helpless.

    I keep telling myself...less than a year now till we can vote on a new president and turn over some of the terrible things this president has done during his 8 years in office.

    I still vote for Obama, and this 27 minute speech is a good reason why:

    She knows I want to leave for Salem as soon as possible. And she's pissing me off and making me not want to go there, because nine times out of ten I'll take it out on her. I can't do that for the fucking 5th time in a week. -_- I hate my mother.
