I hate geese. There are about a dozen outside and they won't shut up.

It's really hard to sleep when it sounds like there's a goose orgy in your yard.

I've always hated when people claim copyrights on their own work. Yes, the work is yours, but unless you actually own the copyright, it's not copyrighted at all.

    Copyright Secured Automatically upon Creation

The way in which copyright protection is secured is frequently misunderstood. No publication or registration or other action in the Copyright Office is required to secure copyright. (See following note.) There are, however, certain definite advantages to registration. See “Copyright Registration.”

Copyright is secured automatically when the work is created, and a work is “created” when it is fixed in a copy or phonorecord for the first time. “Copies” are material objects from which a work can be read or visually perceived either directly or with the aid of a machine or device, such as books, manuscripts, sheet music, film, videotape, or microfilm. “Phonorecords” are material objects embodying fixations of sounds (excluding, by statutory definition, motion picture soundtracks), such as cassette tapes, CDs, or LPs. Thus, for example, a song (the “work”) can be fixed in sheet music (“copies”) or in phonograph disks (“phonorecords”), or both. If a work is prepared over a period of time, the part of the work that is fixed on a particular date constitutes the created work as of that date.

Automatically, you've got a copyright, once you create it. I recorded a song three days ago, and it's now copyrighted. I don't need to register it, although if I do, I have extra protection. All I have to prove is that I created it. Sometimes, I don't even have to do that.

So My Chemical Romance was awesome last night in Philly. Taking Back Sunday came on by surprise to fill in for Billy Talent, and showed off their new guitarist (who not only plays better, but also sings better than Fred ever did), and then My Chemical Romance came on and played a setlist full of older songs and b-sides that only true fans would know. The songs they played last night as far as I know were as follows (this is NOT in order and just a list of the songs):

    'Stay' (Intro riffs only)
    Give "Em Hell Kid
    Disappear
    Sharpest Lives
    I'm Not Okay
    My Way Home
    Headfirst
    Prison
    Cancer
    House of Wolves
    Venom
    Sleep
    Welcome To The Black Parade
    Teenagers
    I Don't Love You
    Kill All Your Friends
    Dead
    Mama
    Desert Song
    Helena

The set lasted a good hour and 30 minutes. As for how they did, well, the band sounded pretty dead on and Gerard's vocals were better than they were at Projekt Revolution. However, the mics were not mixed well that night because several times during the course of the show the fans overpowered the band themselves.

Either way still an awesome show, and something I'll remember for a while. The intensity of the crowd was unforgettable. Shame Electric Factory allowed absolutely NO camera's (they'd kick you out if you snuck one in) so I don't have any pictures for you all.

They were CRAZY last night. Gerard had to feel amazing seeing such an incredible crowd response.

I mean I've been to Projekt Revolution 2007, Coldplay, mtvU Campus Invasion, and Evanescence twice before this, and I have never seen a crowd so ridiculously into a band. MCR literally almost brought the house down. I LOVED IT.

I'm literally so jealous of you.

I've only ever seen My Chem in larger festival/arena type concerts. I'd kill to see them in a more intimate show ala Life on the Murder Scene.

Oh, dude, I heard about Taking Back Sunday opening for MCR a few days ago. Billy Talent's last show with MCR was a few days ago as well, so yeah, from now on, it's TBS and MCR.

Must've been kickass to have seen them, dude! I'm happy for you, and jealous as fuck.
I've seen pictures from recent shows and I must say all the boys look amazing, and judging from the videos I've seen on youtube, they SOUND incredible. Lucky cheese. <33

Gerard looks so fucking YOUNG. It's like the Bullets-era. XD
