^ So funny!
Sorry, but this is so shitty!
What's shitty. Ree? I wonder how can people judge other only by reading a few words from a post. Sorry, but this is so not normal!
Lmfao we all know I'm not normal. Normal people don't hear thoughts that don't belong to them. I need to go to the doctor to see if I'm so fucked up they have to do something about it.
If I need to go to some mental rehab place I hope they send me to the one down the street. My mum went there and I know a few people who went there. We visited them a few times. It's like a hotel but everyday you have to have a chat with your psychologist. Sometimes they take you on excursions. The only problem is if you need to use a knife you have to get the staff to come unlock the drawer and they have to supervise you until you put it back. Most people stay 28 days, but if you're doing better or worse they let you out earlier or later. It's kinda like Big Brother but you get visitors and they let you out sometimes, and the prize is you get better.
I'm sorry but, in defense of Melis you're misinterpreting things. She's not judging anyone, she's trying to help. I'm certain she didn't mean harm when saying "if you're normal", she is referring as 'normal' for the abscence of a mental/emotional issue.
LeeQuoiz is asking for advices so she can deal or seek help regarding her feelings and others are trying to help her.
*they *their *them
Alright, sorry bout that.
Tell me about it. A few years ago after a physical my doctor called me up and said "It's probably nothing, but you have elevated levels of protein in your urine, I'm referring you to a kidney specialist." I then made the mistake of Googling elevated levels of protein in urine and every single fucking result said I have kidney failure. I was worried as hell. After seeing the specialist and having some more tests done, he said that my kidneys are functioning at 100%, are healthier than the average adults', and that it's common for some people to naturally have elevated levels, and if it doesn't go higher (which it hasn't), it's fine. Why couldn't Google tell me that instead?
Sometimes it's best not knowing. Pancreatic cancer runs in my family, supposedly now there are genetic tests that can tell you your chances of getting it later in life, but I've decided that I want no part of that, otherwise, any time I have any kind of pain in my back or side, I'm going to think it's pancreatic cancer. I know early detection is key to having any chance at surviving it (it really is one of the worst cancers out there) and knowing you're going to get it might help as you'll be tested more frequently, but I'd rather be diagnosed at 70 and told I have 6 months to live than be told at 26 that I'll get it sometime later in life and have that lingering over me.
Rather spend life living rather than worrying about how you're going to die.
Tomorrow it's back to the routine.
Same for me.
Still 11 days to study until end of the exams session. Motivated!
^ Good luck!
I'm worried about my immediate future. Otherwise, the distant future is kind of looking good.
So, I'm very excited that the NHL lockout is over, however, hockey fans where I live, for the most part, are so full of shit. No one cared about the Blackhawks, or hockey for that matter, until the Blackhawks started to get good/won the Stanley Cup. It pisses me off that all of a sudden there are all of these "biggest fans ever" now, but if you asked them 5 years ago what a two line pass was in hockey, they couldn't tell you. I know there are some exceptions, but they are very far and few between. Perhaps that's why it bothers me, being one of the exceptions... (had to vent)
Those kind of things happen with every sport. Being a soccer fan, it also pisses me of! Especially during the last soccer euro cup, when there was a lot of people being like "OMG! Spain! OMG!!!!" when they couldn't name 3 players from that team. And also, towards Italy, they were like" Ah! Italian cheaters!", just because of that stereotyp. I was so freaking frustrated when Italy lost the last game 4-0
If there's one good thing about having a team that's only recently been any good, is that most Blues fans are true fans, and not the bandwagon fans. But I'd gladly let people jump on the wagon in exchange for a Stanley Cup
Now bring on the hockey! It's been too long!
I still hardly know anything about it, but it is fun to watch, especially live.
