The Year Zero ARG is something else. So fun to read through it. Wish I was there.

 

I can't figure out if I want the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the HTC One M8 (or the iPhone 6... pffft, nah). The S5 for that 16 megapixel camera and water resistance, and the M8 for the aluminum build with the front facing speakers. I have a month to decide

I could very well see a Punisher Netflix MCU series turning out extremely well too.

 

If you don't watch The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail you should. The people who do that show are wonderful.

 

I find it interesting that when Kanye West does a song calling himself a god, people do nothing but criticize him. But when Eminem essentially does the same thing, its not even questioned. What's up with that? Dat double standard.

 

I think the key difference is Eminem describes himself (almost) as godly, whereas Kanye wants the Bible to be rewritten to include him.

Kanye said he is a god. Eminem said he is a rap god. Kanye screamed over a synth. Eminem put out possibly one of the most technical rap songs ever. The flow, delivery, content on that song completely justifies the title.

Plus people know Eminem himself doesn't take Eminem too seriously, while Kanye, as MKH said, probably wants the Bible to be re written and include him.

 

I think at the end of the day, they're both shitty human beings, music aside, their personalities are mile high piles of shit. They both have huge egos. Eminem has this weird on/off homophobia thing and Kanye is just complete dueche bag. Though Kanye clearly has much more of a god complex than Eminem. That's not even to use the word God lightly. He really holds himself in that high regard.

Eh, I think that's a cop out. He has no problem staying away from racial slurs now (I know he dropped a few n-bombs years ago), so he obviously has boundaries, no matter how politically incorrect he likes to come across. I'm not sure if I'd call him homophobic outright, but there comes a point where you have to question why he's showing certain groups of people more respect than others.

 

It's because no one in the rap world is gonna blink an eye when he says the f word, yet everyone will go batshit crazy if he says the n word.

 

Past the lyrics though, there was that whole thing with Elton John. I don't even remember what it was over. He just came off like a total homophobic asshole

 

Eminem and Elton John are friends?

He performed Stan with him at the Grammys 2011, and when Elton married his partner, he gave them two diamond dick rings or something?
