I thought I'd do a poll to see which one you guys like better. They are basically the two newest songs from Members of LP (with Razors Out from Mike Shinoda). Haha just to fuck with you man. EDIT: The synth riff in Razors Out is pure gold. I hope Mike saved some of that magic for the rest of Living Things. I loved the synth in Burn It Down as well. The man has a good sense of melody.
since Tuesday burn it down is the only song i have been listening to... i am even listening to it now XD
It was pretty tough to choose. I absolutely love the beats and production in both tracks, and lyrically, they're pretty even also, but I have to say that I prefer the chorus in "RAZORS.OUT" to the one in "Burn It Down" so I pick "RAZORS".
I don't like the singing in Razors, thought the beginning of the song is phenomenally executed. Voted for Burn It Down.
I don't know what Shinoda's playing at, really, with how he pretty much never actually uses Razors Out type beats for Linkin Park songs. It'd be great. Have a word.
I'll be completely honest: I thought this poll would be more of a landslide, considering how the fans on this forum have been reacting to BID lately. Glad to see it's a dead heat.
Come on now, of course Razors Out. I voted Razors Out partly on the count of chorus but more on the count of song structure. As said, Burn It Down's chorus repeated too much for my liking and it's ending rap/vocal/rap/vocal is off, to me.
