I like them both but I voted BID as I like Chester's vocals in that song, especially on the second verse.
They both pretty much tie except Burn It Down has a lot more layers, I could be wrong though.. Soundcloud's quality is really sucky.
Definitely BID. I'm not much into Razors Out, it's kind of a boring sleepy song to me. I like BID because of the energy.
Razors.Out. Mike's signature production style, and that synth breakdown is really cool. I don't like the outro of Burn If Down so..It's a little bit of awkward IMO.
As much as I like both songs, I'm going to go with RAZORS.OUT. The complexity of the track along with Chino's vocals really set it off for me and is definitely one of the best songs Mike has produced in a long time.
I voted for BID, but it's a tie if you ask me. RO is a cool-sounding song, but BID is just so damn catchy. It's so replayable in comparison imo.
Alright honestly I didn't know about this song before I saw this thread. But Razors.Out is fucking amazing. I'd still say BID is better...BUT Razors kicks some serious ass. My playlist for the last four days has been: 1) Burn It Down - Linkin Park 2) Razors.Out - Mike Shinoda 3) Devil's Den - Skrillex 4) Ghosts n' Stuff - DeadMau5 So. Much. Electronic. Goodness. Great playlist to work out to also.
This is a comparison between two different musical styles, its even different artists(altho mikes the head on both) therefore people who like BID may like RO better(my case). This doesn't mean I don't like BID. So I don't think you may call the all the BID fuzz as "dead heat". The songs cool.
It's just which song appeals to you more in terms of lyrics, melody, song structure, chord prograssion etc etc ya know. It's not about "I VOTE BURN IT DOWN BECAUSE IT'S BURN IT DOWN YOOO" no! I still vote Razors Out
Whoa, 50/50 split. I voted for Razors Out. More stuff going on in the song, and a more interesting evolution.
Razors Out. The production is a lot more interesting, the structure is better and there are enough things going on in the song to keep it fresh unlike BID.
Hah made it a dead heat again. Razors.Out is just a brilliant song, but I always keep imagining what it would be like had Chester sung it. Plus it reminds me of the ending to the Raid so that's a +1 right there.
Overall, I'd go with Burn It Down. However, it really depends on what I'm looking for. Razors Out really makes me think about what a polished Reanimation 2.0 would sound like. To me, it's more HT/Reanimation, but on a much more fluid level. Where as Burn It Down is evolved. I like them both though.
