Irregardless of the whole word regardless regardless thing, How could 'Couldn't" not be a real word? Oh and Reading My Eyes is an kick ass song.
Personally, even though my job as a moderator right now would be to pwn you for starting it, to be honest...I actually find this entire thing funny. Way to go off topic folks!
lol yeh, lets try and get it back on topic. Anyway, I love RME since LP breathed life into it in the Japan along with QWERTY. And yeah, most of the lyrics don't make any sense whatsoever, but it is a 'dope' song as Mike says. Musicly its also a great song with a terrific guitar part by Brad (that the awfull quality of the Xero tape didn't exactly do it any justice). And with the Live version, Rob's drumming is pretty crazy/awesome too.
I've decided the first times I heard the track (the Xero tape, then the LPUv6.0 one), that it was one of my favorites from Linkin Park. "make summer cold with rhymes i spit" It may be me, but "spiting rhymes" seems indeed what this song is about. Correct me if needed, but I think this is the fastest rap from Mike. He doesn't rap, he spits the words. For a long time, I don't even cared what the lyrics said. And the fact that after 10 years or so he still does it, live, ...is just great.
Yes, I am a supporter of this song. I was amazed when I first heard it, his rapping was so much faster back then. I'd like them to perform some more ancient songs like Fuse. Fuse is my favourite Xero song. I too would like to hear more unreleased songs that were recorded by Xero/Linkin Park.
That's sort of true. There were never really any fast raps on Meteora, and Bleed It Out is the fastest on M2M and that's not half as fast as RME. BUT have you heard "There They Go" by Fort Minor? That I think was when everyone sort of went "Whoa, he's still got it!" even though it's not as fast as RME. Anyway, I love Reading My Eyes. I can't stand Mark Wakefields voice to be honest on the Xero tape, Mike sounds awesome though. He sounds much younger, and I like Mike's parts better on the tape than live because he sounds more serious and like he's enjoying it more. Chester absolutely owns on vocals though. On the LPU 6.0 he just roars during the bridge. I think that sounds awesome.
