This thread was good like 3 pages ago when talking about record labels. Now it's the worst.

Today at the summit, it sounded like it is not clear yet, who will be the producer. Mike prefered the Producer of Lady Gagas new Album

By the way, i recorded a nice Accoustic song at the Summit. Will upload it later and send the Link to the LPA Staff. It was a cover of a song which is played pretty often (at least in Europe) at the moment, the artist is a women, so have fun while guessing ;-P

PS: I just realized, it is a pretty famous song in the US too.

What really frustrates me about this whole situation is that as fans, we like to fight alot. Seriously, I think we're just a tad behind Justin Bieber fans arguing about who gets to marry him in 5 years, when it comes to arguing and fighting. It's not that we all have different opinions, its just that many of us (NOT ALL) have difficulty accepting other people's opinions. A great example of this is the one with Stormtrooper. Yes, he doesn't really like LP's new direction. Yes, maybe he isn't accepting their new sound (There are some people I know who are accepting the change, but it's not their favorite). However, at the same time, we're not accepting his opinions much either. We're also sometimes complaining how the old LP fans aren't accepting LP's new direction - however some of us are still as close-minded as some of them (by not accepting other people's opinions). Who cares if one of us has better and valid points than the other? Opinions are in the end: Opinions.

With that being said, I want Linkin Park to make whatever they want on this album. I'm glad they chose Rick, because he guides them exceptionally well while giving them freedom. I can't wait to hear it. However, it might not be my favorite, since A Thousand Suns is right now my favorite album ever. I honestly think it's an excellent mix of Rock, Hip Hop, and Electronica. We'll see though. I'm guessing musically, it's going to improve alot. I just don't if I'll like it or not.

 

I don't think anybody mocked him for not liking ATS. If so, let's see it.

The criticism was that he was saying the band is "in denial" and isn't doing their job because they aren't selling enough albums.

Well there are opinions, but claims like saying LP will be gone if they don't sell records anymore are related to facts. It helps to have the facts straight, then you will have come to a valid opinion.
