Backing tracks? Yes, LP uses backing tracks. I think Crawling is one of them, too, no? The other voice you hear during the chorus "Crawling in my skin..." The non-reanimation version one, that is definitely not Mike singing that part.

Judging by the fact that Crawling's chorus has never sounded like the album version in any of the live performances I've heard, I highly doubt they use backing tracks live.

    Studio Crawling?
Live? It's not a backing track
    In studio songs.

Erm, how about the Live In Texas one? And the live in Red Square one? Milton Keynes too. And Live 8, that one is most clear you can hear the other voice during the chorus.
    Meant live crawling :)

    Um, Live in Texas
    Was recorded and produced.
    Concert DVD.

    Of course it sounds fake.
They made it sound good because
    It's a DVD.

But he doesn't do it live so does that count as using backing track?

Live In Texas not good proof,

If they didn't use backing tracks on some of their songs, they wouldn't sound that good live. Go listen to the early performances of WTCFM, WFTE, and Iridescent, and then the more recent ones. You'll hear the difference.

No, he doesn't sing the backing chorus of crawling in all the live shows I stated and more, not in Live In Texas as well.

I will repeat my question because I've been wondering this ever since the remixes were announced: once they're all done, will they see official release? Or will I have to cry as I watch other lucky fans receive theirs?

Don't know yet. Personally, I think it'd be silly not to eventually put them together into a single digital and/or physical release. :)

Yeah I know but I'd rather be legit.

Yeah, and I can only hope Warner follows the same logic.

Back on topic, I'm glad LT will be more rap-centric. Mike Shinoda's rapping is just one of the reasons why Meteora was their best album. I'm hoping for a call back to the glory days of LP on this one.
