    I agree. I hope he's at least as present as he was on ATS, vocally.
    And I don't get what's the big deal with a name. I mean, yeah, it could be better but the song quality is what matters. Anyway, hope this is legit. I don't want my excitement to be... burned down :rastamike:

    Just to give everyone a timeline of what went down during the last album's pre-release stages:

    July 8th: Announcement of album title and lead single name.
    [three weeks later]
    July 28th: "The Catalyst" played for first time on radio.
    [one week later]
    August 2nd: "The Catalyst" released on iTunes.
    [six weeks later]
    September 14th: "A Thousand Suns" released.

    So there was an approximate 10-week (2.5 month) gap between first official announcement and album release.

    I get the vibe that this song is going to be a nursery rhyme. That's one area that LP seriously need to tap into and expand. Why should Barney get all the love?

    The Messenger is not a unique title either (and is it a bad song?). And as much as LP uses kind of particular titles they are miles away from being researched as Tool or other bands like that, so a quite common title is not to exclude, specially for the first single, and the difficulty they had in "creating" the first single for ATS, and considering they still are under Warner after all.

    Are you serious i expect LP goes a clasic band like queen or nirvana not so high in the level of beatles or rolling stones (legends) but still a clasic band
