No, because I told you I'm going to do that all the time now. Just for you.
Cross the bridge, son. You just got trolled.
Holy shit. You're right, THEY MIGHT DROP PREVIEWS IF THIS IS TRUE, YAAAAAY!!!!
How come there's 43 of us and no one is saying anything smart?
Go LPA! I hope this is true.
I want this SOOOO much to be true.
Now I'm really hyped for the new album.
Official news makes everyone excited, rumoured news turns puts everyone in the fucking trolling mood!
However i did find the 4000fps video of a chipmunk very interesting
Frankly, I hope this is false. 'Burn It Down' immediately makes me think of Nickelback ('burn it to the ground') and, like others posted before, seems too cliche (I won't say simple because they seem to like that, actually).
Plus, Mike said that they plan on releasing the album August/September, it would be too early for sure. LPTV showed us nothing new recently, so here's to getting some inside footage on them working on the new record.
'Burn It Down'...nah. Don't think so. I'd rather it be called 'Firecracker', sounds more hyperactive-ly-thought-provoking-semi-trolling like Robot Boy etc.
When the band members say something like that, they probably don't mean it as an all-encompassing declaration pertaining to every facet of an album's production. Song titles, for instance, are generally decided on based on how well they fit the song as the band intend. That's not just something they did on the last album; they've done it for every song they've ever released.
Yes, this upcoming album will be different to "A Thousand Suns" in a fair few ways but saying that is not some concrete statement about the way the band will work. It's more of a general, very vague description of the album's musical identity. It's certainly not a hint about the nature of future song titles. ;P
OMFG!!!! I wake up and see this yesssss this just made my whole week, I like how it sounds "Burn it Down" but I know it can be fake so we'll see, still HOLY SHIT!
It reminds me of "Burn it to the Ground" too.
A rose by any other name...
A name is just a name. If I judged songs based on names alone, I wouldn't be able to listen to any song named Home because it'd remind me of the Foo Fighters.
No wait, Nine Inch Nails.
No wait, Michael Bublé.
i hope it is true.dont wanna be a pessimist but i dont think its true because the song title is quite overused and lp always try to stay unique and would have definitely thought in the same manner for the title.
Who cares about a name? It's just a name. Hey Joe, you should stop using that name. It's quite overused and you should always try to stay unique.
Same with you Derek.
Something something judging book something something cover.
A name is something that represents a song and that the band feels comfortable calling it. Plain simple.
If something has a lame name, I'll think less of it until I grow to love it. If something has a cool name, I'll be buzzed right from the start.
And what arjunblouria said, exactly that.
As I said, if this first single title turns out to be wrong, the hypothetical real title will probably sound cooler than "Burn It Down". ;P Otherwise, we get "Burn It Down", which, at this point, no-one has any real issue with.
If you wanna get nitpicky about something this trivial, at least try and stay positive.
In that case, I hope the band named all their songs something 'stupid and generic'. That way everyone will assume they hate the song because it has a lame name. Then when they hear the song, it'll earn respect.
Is anyone here maybe in a possibility to contact All Access and ask them where did they get the news from?
Separate names with a comma.
