I decided last night that I was going to do a quick drawing of Ruby from RWBY made by Monty Oum on Roosterteeth. It's probably one of my more simpler drawings I've done, but I like the outcome. So I'll probably be drawing the other three main characters of the show eventually. For now, here's Ruby: I would also like to ask, should I add color to this? I usually like to keep my drawings black and white, but with this being a drawing from an anime series (and with it being a little plain), I may add color. But I want to know what you guys think first.
very nice...The eyes are really well done! you may want more contrast though on the rest of it ...kind of hard to see! Still great job...
It's really up to you...I know a lot of people sometimes prefer the simplicity of no color. In this case I would though since it's hard to see
Updated my drawing with color now Now that I look at it, the top hairline looks a little too close to the bottom (that's probably not the right terms, but you know what I mean), but it too late to fix it now so whatever.
