Well to me this song its just boring

that would leave just 2 more songs to choose for a single, one is probably LOATR and the other one is probably a heavy song

dam i really had big hopes for seeing an In Pieces video, bah another dissapoinment delivered by the band

Maybe they should just mimick the video for With or Without You while they're at it.

I donĀ“t think Shadow of The Day is even similar to With or Without You!

there are a lot of differences.... people are really trying to compare LP with U2!

It's one of my favourites of the album, I'm very happy with this.

I'm just so glad they didn't choose Leave Out All The Rest, it's so boring and like all the other ones out there.

Aw man, I was hoping for Leave Out All The Rest, oh well. Shadow Of The Day isn't a bad song at all, in fact it's become one of the more enjoyable ones personally, off of the new album, however I can't ignore the fact that it's the type of song most female pop star singers would sing. But..that's just my opinion :p

I think Shadow of the Day is a very radio friendly song. And they're already playing it on the radio where I'm at anyways, so they might as well make it a single.

True, but usually when a video is 'booked' it means its going to be filmed rather soon and will debut within the next month or so. That's what happened with Bleed It Out. It was 'booked', and very soon after we had it in our hands.

Thats what Minutes To Midnight is all about; taking risks and that is something that Linkin Park does. What i really want in this music video is a story. From start to finish - a story. The band doesn't have to be in it but it would be o.k. if they were. If they were actually apart of the story that would be great. Not only do i want to see a story, i want to see something risky, a risky video for a risky song. Taking risk in the world that is circled around a normal type of choice is what i love about this band. I wouldn't mind seeing a tasty landscape or a film layer like the animation in the movie; "A Scanner Darkly".
If they release it around November, it might tie in well with Remembrance Day. if they made a video that created a connection between the iraq war and WW1 - just and idea.

A film layer like "A Scanner Darkly" would be amazing if just the scenery was like that but LP looked normal, or vice versa.

It needs to be an artistically risky video, and I hope Joe is reading these forums and sees what we're saying.

No instead he'll be humping both locks below the window, both blinds and then the cards and flowers on that same window.

    It'll be a hit.
