When I first heard this song it made me think...How does it get so high on the charts? Dammit it is probably one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Right next to J-Kwon - Tipsy YUCK What are your views on the song?
R&G (Snoop's latest album) is so much better than the last one though, you have to admit. Some say it's the new Doggystyle, but I won't go that far.
As a person who wasn't a rap-listener until Collision Course was released (I started to listen to rap more to increase my musical knowledge), Drop It Like It's Hot is a decent song. I haven't listened to many of Snoop Dogg's songs, but this one wasn't so bad.
I like Snoop's older songs better but I love "Drop It Like It's Hot". Everytime that song comes on the radio while I'm driving, I always turn it up and sing along to it. heh... B)

i thought paid tha cost to be da bo$$ was a much better album than r&g.. id like drop it like its hot a lot more if pharrell(sp?) wasnt on the song or if anything put on the 3rd verse.. i cant stand him.. him and kanye need to stick to producing tracks.. i also cant stand lets get blown.. another neptunes garbage radio song.. snoops old stuff is way better..
Doggystyle will forever be Snoop's best album. I strongly advise everyone to buy it because it's a hip-hop classic...one of my favorites. As for "Drop It Like It's Hot", it makes me laugh because it's Snoop being funny. I have to say "Let's Get Blown" (second single) is far better though.
