How about just getting better virus protection?

Get Google Chrome, avast Antivirus, and Spybot - Search & Destroy. All of them are for free.

It wasn't from the LPA. We don't have ads, we don't have popups, we don't have anything that would try to install a virus on your computer.

Uhh...you can wind up with viruses/spyware on your system from practically anywhere, provided your system has an open Internet connection and vulnerabilities to exploit. The website you're on when the symptoms first start showing up is often irrelevant...you don't even have to have a browser window open for it to happen.

I can promise you it didn't come from us, please use better anti-virus protection in the future before blaming us. Our site is clean.

I use AVG Free and have never had this problem. You might want to consider trying that. :)

    :squint: Not sure if serious.

This story is VERY personal. And obviously a whole paragraph is definitely WAY TOO LONG FOR ME TO READ BECAUSE I HAS T3H STOOPIDZ.
If you really don't want to come back because you MAY have gotten a virus from this site, then are you also planning on not going back on Google? or Wikipedia? or Yahoo? or THE INTERNET?
Seriously, stop blaming a single website for your own inability to protect your laptop properly.

MalwareBytes is (a) not a virus protector, it just stops spamware and the occasional trojan and (b) does not run on it's own. It's a reactive scanner, not a proactive scanner.

You need something like Avast! or Kaspersky.
