Honestly though, the LP hasn't really made bad soft songs. Their soft songs mostly have the best lyrics, in fact I don't think they've ever made soft songs with bad lyrics (I don't consider UIG to be soft, at least compared to their previous work). Even, back in the HT era, My December had some of the most heart-felt lyrics the band had written. The band seems to have more trouble with lyrics on heavy songs though.
